Zachary joined Murphy & Riley, P.C. as an Associate in August 2025, after previously serving as a Law Clerk at the firm during his third year of law school.

 

Zachary graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a minor in Spanish. He later received his Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School, where he concentrated in Health and Biomedical Law. While in law school, Zachary served as Chief Content Editor of the Journal of Health and Biomedical Law. His Note—Exploring the Difficult to Prove yet Powerful Tort Claim of Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress in Employment, Education, and Healthcare—was published in Volume XXI, Issue 1 of the Journal. In his third year, Zachary also worked as an SJC Rule 3:03 Certified Student Attorney in Suffolk’s Health Law Clinic.

 

Zachary focuses his practice on a variety of civil litigation matters, with a particular interest in medical malpractice and professional liability defense. He brings a strong foundation in legal research and writing and prides himself on his dedication to client advocacy.
