
Anne joined Murphy & Riley, P.C. in 2017, bringing with her years of courtroom advocacy and jury trial experience. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced as a public defender in New York and Massachusetts, frequently winning favorable verdicts at trial, dismissals, and other beneficial outcomes through persuasive motion practice. She currently focuses on general liability and insurance defense.
Anne is a proud graduate of Northeastern University School of Law, where she was selected by her professors to serve as a teaching assistant for Torts and Constitutional Law classes. As a law student, she interned with The Legal Aid Society of New York, the Committee for Public Counsel Services in Boston, the ACLU of Massachusetts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Before she became an attorney, Anne worked in Massachusetts state government as a legislative aide. She earned a bachelor’s degree from UMass-Amherst where she studied Social Thought & Political Economy and Philosophy.
