Mary A. Azzarito

Mary A. Azzarito joined Murphy & Riley, P.C., as an Associate in 2007, bringing with her a broad base of litigation experience in a variety of areas.  In practice since 1994, Mary originally focused on white collar criminal defense, before moving into a general practice which focused on commercial litigation and professional liability. Mary also litigated several cases brought under the principles of the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction. 

Mary currently concentrates on the defense of medical professionals and mental health counselors, including the resolution of regulatory and credentialing issues related to claims of malpractice.  She has defended clients in both State and Federal courts, and has argued appellate matters in the Supreme Judicial Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
