Elizabeth Feeherry

Elizabeth Feeherry joined Murphy & Riley, P.C. in February, 2010, and practices civil litigation with an emphasis on employment litigation and business litigation as well as representation of healthcare providers before the various licensing boards.  Elizabeth’s practice includes representing individuals, businesses and non-profit corporations in matters before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD), the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and Massachusetts State and Federal courts.  Prior to joining Murphy & Riley, Elizabeth gained experience in complex business litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and employment litigation.  She routinely advised private equity clients regarding indemnification and director and officer insurance liability programs, and communicated with brokers and opposing counsel on insurance coverage issues.  In addition, Elizabeth maintained an active pro bono practice representing individuals in immigration and guardianship matters.

Elizabeth currently teaches First Year Legal Research & Writing at Boston University School of Law.   Elizabeth has served as a member of the Auction Committee for the Massachusetts March of Dimes Franklin Delano Roosevelt Humanitarian Award Gala.  Elizabeth is an active volunteer with the Bowdoin College Alumni Fund and serves as a Deacon with her local church congregation.
